The unique identifier for a specific course section in a specific term is composed of the Subject_Area, the Course_Number, and the Section_Number. Note: Although a Section_Id may be used in more than one term, the activity may be different in different terms.

Positions 1 to 4 are the alphabetic code for the subject area of the academic discipline under which the course is offered.

Positions 5 to 7 indicate the course number assigned to the course at the inventory level.

Positions 8 to 10 indicate the section number for a specific course section in a specific term.

Generally, term specific sections with a middle digit of 5 indicate that the course was taken through Study Abroad.

A code that indicates whether the course section is crosslisted. Crosslisting occurs when the same course section is offered under more than one course Id. There may be up to 6 different course Ids for the same section. Only one course section carries the primary course designation, which controls the meeting arrangements.

P          Primary Cross Listing
S          Secondary Cross Listing
Section_Schedule_Print RC155 SCHEDULE PRINT
NATURAL ALIAS: SCHD-PRN-RC appears on SRS screen 130

A flag that controls which, if any, published schedule a course section is printed in.

Values:

[NULL] Print in Course Timetable and/or Course & Room Roster only
N - Do not print this section in Course Timetable, nor in Course & Room Roster, nor in Freshman Timetable
F - Print in Freshman Timetable and Course & Room Roster only
B - Print in Course Timetable, Course & Room Roster and Freshman Timetable
