Additional AAA Development Especially Authorization (Continued)
- Develop a people database (“Penn Community”) so that campus application developers can make authorization decisions based on bio/demo data.
- Supplement Penn Community database with the ability to maintain lists of users who are allowed to access particular applications and services (AKA Access Control Lists or ACLs).
- Provide a standard and scalable mechanism that can be used to require user authentication before connecting over wireless LANs.
- Acquire site licenses for standard secure client software (e.g. kerberized telnet, FTP, etc.)
