Tentative ISC Networking Budget Assumptions FY 2002 (Continued)
No growth in IP addresses from UPHS projected.
Little growth in IP addresses from ResNet projected.
The CSF will subsidize the public labs, kiosks and central pool classrooms.
The CSF and General Fee will subsidize a 180 line Express modem pool to ease transition.
ISC to seek one time monies ($133K) from the general fee to support off-campus student remote access for Express Pool. (*Expenses need to be evaluated. Could be much higher due to some fixed costs.)
The $837K of allocated costs that is currently being collected from the schools to pay from 1985 debt service for conduit, fiber, electronics, etc., should continue to come to ISC Networking after June, 1999 when the debt service is retired to support the Next Generation PennNet Project.
