Message from the Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Welcome to ISC's web site. Here you will find information about the IT systems and services we provide that advance Penn's mission of educating tomorrow's leaders and of conducting research that will help solve some of the world's most complex issues.

Our systems and services provide anytime/anywhere/from-any-device connectivity to faculty, students, and staff across our campus and to colleagues, alumni, and suppliers around the globe. We provide innovative technology products that facilitate new ways of teaching and learning, promote greater collaboration, protect Penn's IT assets in an age of increasing cyberspace attack, and improve the day-to-day lives of the entire Penn community. You will find more detail about the products and services ISC offers in our Service Catalog.

On this web site you will also learn more about the IT Principles that guide how we deploy information technology at Penn, inform decision makers, integrate technical choices to meet the needs of our many constituencies, and share best practices with our colleagues. And you will learn about Penn's Computing Model, which defines how IT services are delivered so we effectively leverage local and central resources in Penn's decentralized environment.

We pride ourselves on ISC's values of teamwork, customer service, results orientation, and innovation/creativity. We are all committed to achieving ISC's mission to provide technology leadership through collaboration for today's solutions and tomorrow's innovation.
