Dispatch Services


Dispatch Services provides professional computing support to University units that don't require a full time local support provider or need short- to medium-term help. Core Dispatch Service staff comprises full-time Penn computing professionals. Services range from systems consulting, setup and configuration to network communications troubleshooting and handling complex interoperability issues. On-Site computing consultation and problem solving including:

  • Hardware and Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Purchasing advice
  • Printer setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Network troubleshooting and reporting
  • Installation of software upgrades and patches
  • Additional technical staffing for short term assignments

Response Time

Requests receive a reply within 24 hours (Monday - Friday). We are often able to provide same-day service
